Jesus is more than just a name that we wear, say, and sing about. He is the Savior who knows us, loves us, and invites us into daily friendship with Him. He isn’t far off. He is near. He is present in every moment, ready to carry our burdens and fill us with His peace.

so you don’t need to “fight” darkness.

you don’t defeat darkness by sheer strength or willpower.

rather, all you need is to turn on light

and the darkness has no choice but to retreat.

it’s that simple.

light dispels darkness.

and Jesus Christ is the Light of the world.

the weight of sin feels a little bit heavier this morning.

today we are mourning the loss of Charlie Kirk, a man unashamed of his faith, committed to proclaiming Jesus.

today, we also remember the terrible events of 9/11 - a day marked by senseless hate.

it is clear that our world has a hate problem.

the only way to combat it is love.

choose love.

God’s Silence ≠ God’s Absence 👥

God may be silent at times, but He is never absent. His silence invites deeper faith and trust, and throughout Scripture, silence is often a precursor to revelation, deliverance, or growth. So when you don’t hear God, remember – He’s still there. Working. Loving. Leading. Always.

GOD SEES YOU

To the one who feels overlooked, invisible, or forgotten — God sees you. He knows your name, your story, and every tear you’ve cried. You are never hidden from His love.

Be Jesus to your waitress,

Be Jesus to the woman in the grocery line,
whose cart is full of food but whose heart is empty,
aching for something that lasts longer than tomorrow’s meals.

Be Jesus to the driver who cuts you off,
to the neighbor who never waves back,
to the stranger whose name you may never learn.

The Gospel is not just preached from pulpits—
it is preached in patience,
in generosity,
in words that heal instead of wound.

You may be the only glimpse of Jesus
someone will see this week.
Don’t waste the opportunity.

God is not simply a transactional lifeline to call on when we’re in need of help. He is a forever friend who wants to be in constant conversation with us – in the good, in the bad, and in everything in between.

Maybe it’s time for you to recreate a regular practice of talking to God – seeking guidance, expressing gratitude, and even simply just chatting with him. On the good days and the bad days alike. Don’t ignore him. He wants to hear from you. He is ready to listen.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
“Rejoice always,pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.”

 Joshua knew the feeling. Suddenly he was in Moses’ shoes—a position too big for him to fill. Fear and doubt could have paralyzed him.

But God’s words cut through the noise: “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5)

The same God who was faithful then is faithful now. His presence doesn’t hinge on our qualifications or confidence—it rests on His promise.

So when you step into new roles, new jobs, new seasons… remember: “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

For the last month, I’ve been reading through the Psalms. Looking back over my highlights, one theme keeps showing up again and again—God’s people gathering to sing and worship Him. 🎶🙌

Something about group worship always stirs my heart. Whether it’s Sunday morning in church, a packed Christian concert, or friends gathered around a bonfire with an acoustic guitar, there’s a unique power in lifting our voices together to the Lord.

Let’s keep filling stadiums for Jesus—but let’s also worship in our living rooms, in our cars, around the firepit, and yes, even in the shower (maybe not all together for that one).
